Robert Costiera

Robert Costiera


Robert is a NYS licensed physical therapist who graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 2000 with his Masters degree. Robert also attained two Bachelor of Science degrees from St. John’s University in 1993 and the New York Institute of Technology in 1997.

Robert’s main emphasis has been orthopedics and manual therapy in which he continues to enhance his skills by attending numerous continued educational courses throughout the years. He also has extensive experience with neurological disorders, pediatrics and sports related injuries.

He is the sole owner of OrthoFlex Physical Therapy which he opened in the Howard Beach area in May 2006 and has been providing one on one hands on care with his exceptional manual therapy skills. Robert is also a clinical instructor and continues to educate his staff and students to ensure that his patients are treated with the highest regard and achieve optimal results.

In August 2003 he became a published author in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning after many years of research while pursuing his Masters degree.

Robert believes that through hard work and dedication anything in life can be accomplished which he continues to instill in his patients, students and staff on an everyday basis.

Kerri Boerner

Kerri Boerner


Graduated from the New York Institute of Technolgy with her doctorate in physical therapy in 2013 and a Bachelors of Life Sciences in 2011 with honors.

Her specialities include orthopaedics, pediatrics and geriatrics. Kerri also has extensive experience working with children in the school based setting that have various diagnoses. She has tremendous passion and empathy and continues to attain optimal results with her patients.
